Collagen + Elastin Iced Mocha
Collagen protein builds the skin’s structure and counteracts a loss of thickness with age. Elastin helps your skin bounce back into place when stretched. More elasticity means fewer wrinkles.
This recipe works best when you brew the coffee and chill it in the fridge for at least an hour. If you don’t drink coffee or you are trying to cut caffeine, use an herbal coffee alternative (like an adaptogenic mushroom blend) instead.
1 cup brewed coffee or herbal coffee alternative, chilled
1 scoop Body Kitchen Collagen + Elastin Powder
1 teaspoon raw cacao powder
1 teaspoon maple syrup
¼ cup coconut milk, or milk of choice
Pinch of vanilla powder or ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine coffee, Collagen + Elastin Powder, cacao, maple syrup, and coconut milk in a blender and blend until smooth and frothy.
Pour into a glass filled with ice. Add a straw if you like and enjoy!
