Medically Reviewed By Elizabeth A. Swick, MS, RDN

Try this refreshing late-summer mocktail! It’s low in calories and contains no added sweeteners, but it’s full of flavor and medicinal benefits.

Hibiscus tea is made from the dried flowers of the hibiscus plant. The tea has a beautiful pink-red color and a sweet, floral flavor. Hibiscus is full of antioxidants and research supports its use for lowering blood pressure.

Pomegranate juice is another medicinal ingredient in this spritzer. It contains powerful polyphenol and antioxidant compounds that support gut microbiome, heart, and brain health.

Tip: Add one scoop of your favorite elastin or collagen powder for extra skin benefits!
