Lizzy Swick, RDN is our resident expert in nutrition, science and integrative wellness, and a firm believer that real food nutrition is the best place to start with to every health question. “The further we get from nature, the closer we get to disease”, she says.

As a registered dietician nutritionist, Lizzy is dedicated to helping women make empowered personal choices about their health by making nutritional science interesting and easy to understand. To this end, she finds joy in breaking down nutrients, enzymes, hormones and everything biology into sensical pieces of wisdom to learn from and use to create healthier habits.

Lizzy began her educational journey at the University of Vermont where she graduated with honors with a degree in Environmental Studies with an emphasis on Sustainable Agriculture. Intrigued by the connection between the ecology and human health, she went cross-country to Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, a pioneering institution in health, research and natural medicine, where she received her Master of Science in Nutrition Sciences. To put her academics into practice, she returned to New England where she completed a dietetic internship at Keene State College in New Hampshire.

Lizzy combines her passion for real food nutrition with her skill for content creation. She has worked with notable health publications, authors and world-renowned leaders in functional medicine and natural health.

Like the team at Body Kitchen, she believes the best nutritional supplements work in alignment with how the body is designed to heal, function and thrive. And as our recipe creator, she demonstrates her prowess in the kitchen for turning real food ingredients into tasty dishes that nourish and satiate.
