collagen fudgsicles

Dairy-Free Coconut Collagen Fudgsicles

Medically Reviewed By Elizabeth A. Swick, MS, RDN

Most store-bought fudgsicles are loaded with highly processed sugars, thickeners, preservatives, and other ingredients you won’t find in your home kitchen.

A popular brand even contains “mono and diglycerides” which is the food industry’s workaround for putting highly problematic trans fats in your food.

The good news is that making fudgsicles at home is fast, easy, and offers more nutrition from real food ingredients. All you need is a blender, popsicle mold, and a few ingredients you already have in your kitchen.

Plus, when you make fudgsicles at home, you can easily incorporate extra nutrition. Add collagen powder for more protein. If you don’t have a banana, try avocado instead for a creamy texture. Have some extra spinach? Throw it in!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (13.5 fluid ounces) full-fat coconut milk
  • 2 scoops Body Kitchen Youthful Beauty Advanced collagen powder
  • 1 medium banana
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ¼ cup cacao powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth, stopping halfway to scrape down the sides.

  2. Pour the fudgsicle batter into popsicle molds. Freeze for 4 hours or until frozen solid, and enjoy! (Be sure to eat one before the kids know they are ready!)
