This recipe incorporates Body Kitchen Stress Release Adaptogen Complex, a blend of vitamin B6, magnesium, ashwagandha, GABA, and l-theanine. These nutrients promote relaxation of the muscles and nervous system, support restorative sleep, and create more resilience to holiday stress. We suggest drinking this herbal latte any time you feel stressed or anxious or before bed to support sleep. (Don’t worry, there isn’t any caffeine to keep you up).
Ingredients
2 teabags dandelion root tea brewed in 6 ounces of boiling water (or substitute your favorite herbal or mushroom coffee)
¼ cup full-fat coconut milk
1 teaspoon maple syrup, or sweetener of choice to taste
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Dash of cayenne (optional but adds a nice warmth)
-
2 capsules Body Kitchen Stress Release Adaptogen Complex
Directions
Brew the dandelion tea or herbal coffee to your preference. Strain and pour into a large mug.
Add the coconut milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix with a hand-held frother. Open the Stress Release Adaptogen Complex capsules and pour the contents into the mug. Mix again with the frother and enjoy immediately. Alternatively, take Stress Release Adaptogen Complex in the capsules along with your latte.
