Body Kitchen Spring Superfood Smoothie

Spring is in the air… and in the kitchen! Notice the foods in season in the early spring: baby greens, dandelion, nettles, herbs. All are easy to digest, consumed raw, and have cleansing or detoxifying properties that support skin health and whole-body health. While green juices are popular, juicing removes fiber and some nutrients. On the other hand, a green smoothie allows you to consume the whole plant and reap all its benefits. A smoothie also lends itself to adding collagen protein and other nutrient-rich superfoods.

Pro tip: Use a smoothie to wash down two capsules of Body Kitchen Mega Quercetin Premium Antioxidant Defense for even more antioxidants. Quercetin may be particularly beneficial to use in the spring if you have seasonal allergies.
