Tart Cherry Unwind Magnesium Gummies

Tart Cherry Unwind Magnesium Gummies

Taking magnesium supplements at night helps you unwind, reduce muscle tension, relax the nervous system, decrease stress, and sleep well. These tart cherry gummies are a fun, satisfying, and kid-friendly way to incorporate magnesium into the diet or serve as an after-dinner treat. Each serving contains around 225 milligrams of magnesium. Plus, tart cherry juice is a natural source of melatonin, which supports drowsiness and sleep quality.

Recipe notes: Any juice will work in this recipe except pineapple. If you don’t have tart cherry juice, 100% pomegranate juice is an excellent substitute. Add 1-2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup to the recipe if you prefer sweeter gummies.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups 100% tart cherry juice

  • 4 Scoops Body Kitchen Unwind

  • 6 tablespoons gelatin powder

Directions

  1. Add the juice to a saucepan and whisk in Body Kitchen Unwind.

  2. Sprinkle the gelatin powder on top of the juice and let it sit for a couple of minutes to soften.

  3. Place the saucepan on the stove over medium heat and stir with a metal whisk or spoon.

  4. When the mixture is steaming (not boiling) and the gelatin fully dissolves, pour it into silicone gummy molds or a glass container.

  5. Transfer to the fridge to cool and set for 1-2 hours. Remove the gummies from the molds or slice them into individual squares. Store leftovers in a covered container in the fridge.

  6. Unwind and sleep well!
